What does a successful QuickSight BI Developer do at Fiserv?
You will be part of our Merchant Solutions Risk & Fraud full stack application development engineering group. You will join an organization responsible for mission critical platforms that support Fiserv reduce financial risk. We build and support highly scalable, available, and best performing tools for risk management process providing opportunity to monitor and manage merchant portfolio. We build and support tools to onboard new clients and perform compliance & risk screening and monitor for card & merchant related fraud scenarios.
This demanding environment will require you to be an enthusiastic critical analytical person who can balance platform stability and resiliency along with modern engineering practices and solutions.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources like Snowflake
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient data solutions
- Implement and optimize pipelines in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs
- Design, develop and manage dashboards and visualizations in Amazon QuickSight to provide actionable insights
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance
- Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, DMS, Athena, Step Functions) to build and manage data workflows
- Ensure data accuracy, Integrity, data security, governance, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Document data engineering processes, pipelines, and best practices
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- 4+ year of experience with Amazon QuickSight for creating dashboards and visualizations
- 4+ years of experience in SQL data manipulation and analysis
- 4+ years of experience in AWS services, including S3, Lambda, Glue, Quicksight, RDS and Athena
- 1+ years of experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
What would be great to have:
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
