What does a successful Senior Technical Product Owner do at Fiserv?
This is a fast-paced role that guides the product development lifecycle within agile frameworks, ensuring products align with business goals and customer needs. You will effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, interact with product managers, drive product strategy, and manage the product backlog with clear, concise user stories.
What you will do:
- Shape and share the product strategy with stakeholders.
- Translate business goals and customer needs into product requirements.
- Prioritize and refine the backlog to reflect business priorities.
- Interface with stakeholders, product managers, and the development team to align on product scope and delivery.
- Lead sprint planning and review sessions, addressing roadblocks promptly.
- Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Conduct research to identify opportunities for product innovation.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in a product owner role, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Experience with agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
- Proficient in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Aha!
What would be great to have:
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
- Experience in the financial services and payments industry.
- Master’s degree.
