What does a successful Lead, Application Support do at Fiserv?
As a member of our ETL (Data) Operations team, your role will involve efficiently managing and maintaining ETL systems to ensure their reliability, availability, and optimal performance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives and implement continuous improvement strategies aimed at boosting efficiency and minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Unix, Netezza, Informatica (IDMC), scheduling tools, Qlik Replicate, Business Objects, and other ETL technologies
What will you do:
- Expertise in Informatica, SQL, Netezza, Snowflake, and related tools.
- Working knowledge of Qlik Replicate and Business Objects
- Proficient in troubleshooting, scheduling tools, and Data Warehouse processes.
- Awareness of the Production Environment criticality, SLA, and business impact along with providing root cause analysis.
- Support applications and code fix along with daily cycles support during business and non-operating hours and working on distributed team environments.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and tuning skills
- Experience in third party tools like Quest Software, Mainframe and CA7 Scheduling / Autosys scheduling tool.
- Should have good communication skills
What you will need to have:
- Strong experience in Application Support (Informatica, Netezza).
- Proficient in SQL, Unix commands, and scheduling tools (Control-M, CA7).
- Good communication, problem-solving skills, and flexibility for shifts/weekends.
- Bachelor’s in computer science with 7-9 years of experience.
