About the Role
Role: Functional/ Technical Consultant
- Primarily responsible for ensuring timely and quality execution of client deliverables and consulting with clients on Workday projects.
- Assisting senior members in articulating the business problems, while you comprehend and learn on the job.
- Obtain product certification to guide HR/FIN teams and assist project stake holders with configuration, implementation and testing related effort.
- Communicate regularly with stake holders about project status.
- Collaborate with global teams and be open to seek support when required.
- Execute the unit test cases to verify the changes done as part of the requirements.
- Debug and resolve any issues encountered during testing.
- Adhere to the project timelines and support processes as defined by the project manager.
- Help clients to grow their knowledge and skills to manage their own solutions.
About You
- Basic Qualification
- Master’s degree in related areas is an advantage.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Be adaptable and flexible, working extended hours to meet deadlines.
- Should have learning agility to pick up and work on new domains as required by the business.
- Strong stakeholder engagement.
- You’re passionate about problem-solving and have strong analytical skills.
- You love to learn and can effectively absorb new technology and features.
- You are a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously to find workarounds and solutions, but know when to ask for help.
Other Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience in technology, HR, or Finance is a plus.
- Exposure to SQL or any scripting language is advantageous.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts.
