What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with managers to support employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning - working with and close to the hourly CBA union employees
- Facilitate onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures
- Support HR programs including benefits, compensation, and engagement activities; previous or current union (CBA) experience preferred
- Analyze HR metrics to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making
What Are We Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in HR systems and databases; Workday preferred. Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace culture - some travel between locations (NJ, Camden/Sparta and Hamburg PA)
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment with occasional visits to operational sites. It requires both independent work and collaboration across departments. Flexibility and adaptability are key to success in this role.
