What does a successful Solution Lead do at Fiserv?
As our business grows, we need to expand our group of solution professionals to manage a growing number of client initiatives. The Solution Lead provides a single point of contact to our clients and program delivery teams for the delivery of specific initiatives. The Solution Lead has full ownership of solution scope and design and is responsible for making sure our solutions satisfy client needs. Our team supports many key clients in new deliveries, ranging from full implementations and new product introductions to smaller enhancements. We ensure client objectives are understood and Fiserv solutions are delivered to the greatest benefit.
What you will do:
- Manage solution delivery for large client engagements or a portfolio of client programs.
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders on the intake process, estimation, and prioritisation prior to delivery.
- Define Target Operating Models, Engagement Scope, and the end-to-end Solution for complex engagements and manage these throughout delivery.
- Plan solution-related delivery activities, align with project management, other workstreams, and manage a team of business analysts from the solution team to execute on the plan and provide guidance and support.
- Oversee the definition of Solution requirements across customer experience, processing, operational engagement, and business performance.
- Work with a team of Business Analysts to capture client requirements and transform them into configuration and development specifications.
- Report and escalate to relevant stakeholders while engaging with product/process leads to establish oneself as the internal point of solution orchestration, inquiry, and decision validation.
- Identify major gaps, issues, and new product or capability implementations and work on resolutions with Product Leads and Technical Solution Architect(s).
- Own end-to-end solution quality assurance and approval as the solution moves through the SDLC, maintaining visibility of the overall solution as it is delivered, and advising the test, implementation, and program management teams on solution delivery progress versus business requirements set.
- Identify opportunities for new product and technical components to add value, both to financial performance and client experience terms.
- Identify new ways to utilise our existing solutions to generate stakeholder value; as well as identify improvements to the existing platform and solutions.
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in functional delivery.
- 3+ years of experience leading functional delivery for large, complex, technology-based transformation programs, preferably in a client-facing context.
- Prior experience leading solution design and documenting scope, requirements, and solutions via standard methods such as: Target Operating Model definition, Business Process Definition, Use Case Modelling, User Stories, Process Flows, Sequence Diagrams, Data Models, Customer Journeys.
- Experience managing relationships with senior, C-Level executives and being comfortable in both formal and informal settings at that level.
- Experience working with multi-functional, globally distributed teams.
- Experience working with enterprise-level technology, preferably in a Financial Services environment.
