Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the general direction of his/her administrative report, the supervisor is responsible for maintaining the efficient functioning of the Nursing department on the assigned shift
The House Supervisor ensures high quality, patient-centered care through direction and supervision of all house-wide functions during a designated shift.The House Supervisorparticipatesas an active member of the nursing management team and assumes authority to manage all activities and personnel in conjunction with and in the absence of hospital administration.
What qualifications you will need:
- Texas State RN license or compact license required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Associate Degree required, or Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (5) years clinical experience required. (Preference of ER or Critical Care experience)
- Two (2) years management experience preferred.
