What does a successful Implementation Project Manager do?
As a successful Implementation Project Manager at Fiserv, you will ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. You will work directly with clients, managing the project management responsibilities to deliver credit card processing solutions for our existing Optis clients. By scheduling and coordinating key activities with other Fiserv partners, departments, external vendors, and the client, you will ensure a seamless and timely installation process that meets client requirements.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary project contact for clients and internal groups on client-related development, testing, implementation readiness, and final implementation.
- Provide continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and related task lists as necessary.
- Manage multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion in accordance with client requirements.
- Develop and maintain professional client relationships, managing expectations with respect to live dates and other key timelines.
- Provide occasional after-hour support for client implementations.
- Work with resource managers to create capacity plans and resource forecasting.
- Represent the department for internal special projects with partners.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in project management using Agile methodologies.
- 4+ years of experience in an implementation capacity or environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 4+ years of experience in client services relationships.
- 4+ years of experience in the financial industry, handling installations or project management.
- 4+ years of experience in developing detailed project documentation and standards.
- 4+ years of experience with file transmissions, JCL, Sterling File Gateway.
- 4+ years of experience with credit platform installations or project management.
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word).

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
