Work Arrangement
Hybrid - This means the successful candidate is expected to report to their work location three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]. This position has the flexibility to be in Warren, MI, Mountain View, CA, or Austin, TX.
The Role
As a Lead Architect Manager , you will define, guide, and champion the technical vision and architectural strategy across multiple products and solutions. You will lead a team of architects, setting a high technical bar, fostering innovation, and ensuring architectural integrity aligned with business goals. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex strategies into actionable plans. You will serve as a principal liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving robust, scalable, and future-proof systems across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain strategic documentation including Solutions Roadmaps, Deployment Plans, Product Playbooks, and Requirements Frameworks.
- Define and manage enabling technologies roadmaps and requirements.
- Create detailed technical documentation (diagrams, models, specifications) to guide development teams.
- Perform design reviews, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Validate architectural designs from team members and ensure alignment with technical principles.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure architectural consistency.
- Balance constraints such as cost, scope, resources, compliance, and time-to-launch to deliver viable solutions.
- Evaluate risks and re-engineer processes to mitigate challenges.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Product Technologies Team.
- Communicate technical strategies and solution benefits to stakeholders across the organization.
- Own and manage product requirements, playbooks, roadmaps, and process alignment with business strategy.
