ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Junior Training Developer to join our team. This position will be located onsite in
Doral, FL.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Assists senior Training Developers in the creation of training videos and materials for a military audience, working under the guidance of experienced team members
- Support operations within an agile-informed Software Development Lifecycle Framework, learning and applying development processes
- Assist in consulting with Instructors and subject matter experts to gather instructional requirements and data
- Use educational technologies to support various learning modalities under the supervision of Senior Developers
- Collaborate with the technical design team to produce media that meets instructional goals and objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in a relavent field or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a required bachelor’s degree
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Familiarity with different training delivery methods (e.g., classroom, online, blended).
- Willingness to learn and use educational technologies and multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with instructional design technology (e.g., audiovisual).
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Basic video editing skills.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools. CompTIA CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) (or working toward it).
- Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements
- Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
