Job SummaryResponsible for all functions of multi-state, in- house, full cycle bi-weekly payroll, including time and attendance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:• Audit time and attendance system to ensure accuracy of hours reported • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely• Collect and prepare information on New Hires, Terms, and Leave of Absence• Calculate retroactive pay• Process and maintain garnishment information• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills• Gather data to build templates for payroll processing, including proper authorization.• Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with teammates• Ensure deadlines are met and payroll reports are produced accurately• Work alongside with Human Resources, Accounting and Tax • Other Duties as assignedAdditional Job Requirements• Regular scheduled attendance• Indicate the percentage of time spent travelingSubject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. In accordance with applicable laws, Air Methods will provide reasonable accommodations that do not create an undue burden so disabled employees may perform the essential functions of the positionEducation & Experience• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and four to six years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience• 4 years’ experience processing In house full cycle multi-state payroll.• Experience working in a company with more than 3,000 employees• Accounting and auditing experience preferred.Skills• Decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.• Ability to think “outside the box”.• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, highly organized and detail oriented.• Ability to work independently in a team orientated atmosphere• Strong written and verbal communication.Computer Skills• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Work, Excel and Outlook.• Ultimate Software experience preferredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations• FPC or CPP preferredAir Methods is an EEO/AA employer.
