What You'll Do
- Lead the creation and execution of advanced 3D FEA and/or 1D models to evaluate dynamics and NVH analysis for propulsion components.
- Generate engine loads and provide to partners within our organization (Vehicle N&V Team, Drive Quality Team, etc.)
- Generate technical solutions for current and future programs to meet N&V performance targets while meeting mass and cost targets
- Utilize Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology to identify, drive and optimize critical procedures and designs.
- Assist in developing new CAE techniques by developing, evaluating and customizing new simulation tools, software, and procedures related to modeling, solver parameters and material characterization.
- Collaborate closely with Noise & Vibration Integration Engineers and cross-functional teams to influence design and performance
- Provide insightful analysis to guide design decisions and improve product performance.
- Participate in product development meetings, contributing to new, major, and minor design initiatives.
- Stay ahead of emerging CAE tools and trends.
