Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Bay City on a full-time basis.
The Role:
In this role your work will be of a technical nature with decisions made within the limits of general practices, policies and standards. Your work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to troubleshoot and follow issues to resolve.
You will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. In this position your use of independent discernment required. You will use substantial independent judgment in complex or unusual situations. Your responsibility will involve training others and assigning work to a group of employees.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

You will analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes.

You will propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area.

Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area.

You will provide technical support for specific plant operations.

You will interact on a regular basis with design, product and manufacturing engineering staffs.

Provide direction to engineering support group and vendors.

You will evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment.

You will handle engineering projects with plants and/or Manufacturing Engineering Staffs.
