What does a successful Computer Operations – Sr Professional I do at Fiserv?
As a Computer Operations – Sr Professional I, you will be a part of a core banking computer operations team that is responsible for monitoring continuous interactions with the leading financial software services for the US financial industry.
This role sits in our Financial Institutions Group, specifically in our Core Banking business.
What you will do:
- Prepare jobs for execution on various computer systems and executes required sequence of programs in accordance with established procedure.
- Monitor the mid-range and server environments via system consoles and other monitoring tools.
- Operate peripheral equipment for needed input or output such as data transmission, reception, or printing.
- Report any system problems or equipment failures.
- Document issues using trouble ticketing tool.
- Resolve and escalate operational issues as required.
- Complete required operating records such as shift status reports, problem logs, run requests, etc.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in a computer operations/production environment.
- 4+ years of experience in building and writing queries, specifically in SQL and DB2
- 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- 4+ years of experience in Windows Server 2016+
- 4+ years of experience in scripting in PowerShell
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in financial services/payments domain.
- Experience in Dynatrace and/or Splunk
