What does a successful Inserter Operator do at Fiserv?Join our team at the Hazelwood, MO location where you'll receive advanced training on our world-class inserting equipment. You will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot the insert machine to ensure the production of accurate work in a timely manner. Conduct quality checks and perform other tasks based on workload requirements.
What you will do:
- Operate a variety of insert machines manufactured by Pitney Bowes and Bluecrest.
- Adapt and multitask as production volume changes without advanced notice.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that inserted materials are accurate and separate any damaged mail.
- Stage materials after job run for warehouse pickup.
What you will need to have:
- 2+ years of experience using a computer for data entry.
- 2+ years of proficiency in spoken and written English.
- 2+ years of ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities.
- Ability to stand for 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often.
- A high school diploma and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- 3+ years of experience operating inserting machines.
Important info about this role:
- Compensation is $ 18 /hour
- You will work an assigned schedule of: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd shifts.
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
