Senior Manager, General Motors Community Dealer Development (GMCDD):
The Dealer Development team is dedicated to strengthening and optimizing GM’s dealer network to drive increased sales and grow market share. We are especially focused on expanding access to the dealer ecosystem by creating targeted opportunities for individuals historically underrepresented in this space. Through formal mentorship, structured training, and inclusive initiatives, we aim to optimize and build a more high-performing dealer network.
The Senior Leader is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans and operational tactics across the GMCDD portfolio. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and regional field teams to drive measurable outcomes that support GM’s broader dealer development objectives.

- Growth, Development, and Leadership of a Small Team
Lead and develop a focused, high-performing team dedicated to advancing GM’s dealer network. - Expanding Our Dealer Pipeline
Attract highly qualified dealer candidates to infuse new external talent into the GM family. This is achieved through targeted recruitment efforts, candidate-focused events, and active participation in industry conferences such as NADA, NAMAD, and local business associations. - Protecting and Optimizing Our Dealer Network
Provide structured operational support to dealers aimed at increasing throughput and profitability. This includes delivering formal mentorship and training programs, facilitating Industry 20 groups, and maintaining consistent leadership engagement. Additionally, oversee the newly launched G M Lineage Program for GM Dealer Successors , creating a clear pathway for dealers to introduce and develop the next generation of leadership within GM. - Managing High-Impact Dealer Conferences
Organize and lead two major conferences designed to engage dealer partners and celebrate their achievements. These events offer valuable educational content and networking opportunities tailored specifically for GMCDD dealers.
