What does a successful Director of Business Operations do at Fiserv?
As a Director of Business Operations, you will have responsibility for ensuring quality design and delivery of software features projects focused in the item processing banking area. You will be responsible for developing business and technical requirements from requests from banking customers. You will engage directly with clients to gather system requirements and influence change, build consensus, achieve objectives across functional teams and receive signoff on requirements.
What you will do:
- Serve as primary contact to direct resources and activities within the Fiserv organizations as it relates to requirements gathering, client updates, and delivery.
- Increase client satisfaction, revenue growth due to sales opportunities and new client potential based on positive client references.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into product requirements.
- Assess client business needs, identify solutions, and manage requirements.
- Work on multiple time sensitive projects at the same time to meet deliverables by expected due date.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in direct customer/client project or support involvement
- 8+ years of experience in branch front end functions and processes in the financial services industry. This should include, but not limited to, Bank Operations, Teller, New Account, and Item Processing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience in financial services, banking and/or software domain.
- Experience in Financial Item Processing and fraud protection, related to Merchant, Teller, ATMs, ITMs, Kiosk, Merchant, and Consumer.
- Technical understanding of data base structures and automation tools.
- Experience with software/product development JIRA lifecycle (SDLC/PDLC).
- Experience in Enterprise Agile methodology and concepts
