Description:We are Lockheed MartinYou will be a Software Engineer for the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) team. Our team is responsible for supporting the ground systems maintenance of the F-22 aircraft. IMIS hardware/software connects to the aircraft automating numerous processes to improve maintenance performance and reduce management, supervisory, and technical overhead. The F-22 IMIS applications reduce man-hours needed to service, troubleshoot, and repair the F-22 aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems in multiple computer languages. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing software to satisfy customer driven mission requirements
• Performing code reviews and unit testing on software created by other developers with your team
• Working with systems engineering and test teams to perform integrated end to end testing
• Prepare operating instructions, and compile documentation
• Applying appropriate standards, procedures, and tools to development solutions to ensure software standards are met

Basic Qualifications:
• RedHat – Linux OS experience
• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or equivalent/combined experience
• Coding in Java experience
• Writing scripts – Bash or Python

• Backend software development such as Kubernetes or Docker experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
