About Your Role:
As a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize automated solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability. This role involves building, maintaining, and improving automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
What you'll do:
- Architect and implement robust automation frameworks for applications and infrastructure
- Develop and implement self-healing automation mechanisms that proactively detect, diagnose, and remediate infrastructure issues using Python, Powershell, Base, Ansible – minimizing downtime and ensuring operational resilience across environments
- Troubleshoot and optimize automated solutions to improve reliability and performance
- Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging automation technologies
Experience you'll need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in an infrastructure engineering role, developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- 6+ years of experience with automation tools such as Operations Orchestration, Server Automation, and Ansible
- 6+ years of engineering experience in both a Windows and Linux environment
- 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
- Prior experience in Agile or Scrum development environments
- Deep understanding of performance tuning and system integration
- Advanced certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
