Your Day at Lowe's
As a warehouse Team Member, you'll build a range of skills and play a crucial role in ensuring that our stores, customers, and communities receive the products they need. You will be expected to consistently perform your tasks efficiently and work with others as part of a team. In addition, all team members are expected to follow safety regulations and procedures.
Warehouse Team Members work in diverse departments, each contributing to our supply chain operations. These departments include Building, Shipping, and Receiving.
Key Responsibilities
- Works safely while performing tasks and using equipment (e.g., uses proper lifting techniques for
- handling product, warns other associates when moving into high traffic path, maintains safety zone
- around equipment)
- Resolves inventory discrepancies in Receiving caused by product data inaccuracies in the system (e.g.,
- product dimensions changed or tier height requirements incorrect)
- Performs safety inspection of equipment prior to use; handles and operates equipment and tools

- Monitors Problem Resolution queue
- Completes daily location audits for item dimensions, max capacity, location utilization, TiHi

- Executes new projects that allow for efficient and safe product picking; utilizes Operations associates
- to relocate product (e.g., inventory relocated closer to shipping door, lines repainted)
- Monitors data management system (DMS) to ensure items are set up correctly in the system by completion of daily item add/change downloads from corporate team
- Monitors Operations associate movement of product when consolidating space in the warehouse to allow for more inbound product storage
- Maintains and monitors Building Utilization standards
- Handles all product that does not have a physical location in the warehouse and assigns a location IN DMS
- Helps associates in all Departments when problems arise
- Communicates utilizing computer program vendor packaging deficiencies, opportunities and setup
- Slots product to ensure efficient travel time
- Works with Planning team to resolve deficiencies that cause product to not allocate appropriately Researches idle demand and corrects any item/location setup issues that are causing it to not allocate
Minimum Qualifications
- Team members may work evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, with voluntary and scheduled overtime as needed (additional pay for overtime).
- Physical fitness to move continuously throughout the facility, lift up to 70 pounds, and operate power equipment.
- Adherence to safety protocols, wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, from extreme temperatures to noisy environments.
- Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently or within a team.

Schedule Requirements
- Available to work a set schedule that may be changed by management based on the facility's needs.
- May be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the facility's needs.
Working Conditions
Environmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.
Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 70 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 70 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
