Amentum is seeking a Risk Manager Senior to support our FEDSIM United States Army National Guard (G2 IS3) contract.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements a comprehensive Risk Management Program (RMP) aligned with Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and industry best practices to support ARNG G-2 program execution.
- Leads the creation, maintenance, and execution of the RMP as a component of the Program Management Plan (PMP).
- Conducts in-depth risk analyses by identifying vulnerabilities, assessing potential disruptions, and evaluating compliance gaps.
- Formulates risk mitigation strategies and alternative courses of action to reduce operational and programmatic impact.
- Supports Government leadership by providing actionable insights on emerging DoD policies, regulatory shifts, and mission-aligned risk posture.
- Prepares biannual Risk Analysis Reports documenting threat assessments, mitigation plans, and resolution status.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess and document risks associated with Intelligence and Security (I&S) Requests, prioritizing high-impact concerns and integrating mitigation strategies into enterprise risk frameworks.
- Analyzes risk probability and consequence to inform proactive decision-making.
- Participates in monthly technical and program status meetings, communicating risk trends, mitigations, and assessments to stakeholders.
- Maintains the Risk, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO) register, tracks mitigation plans, and facilitates resolution coordination.
- Works closely with the Quality Manager and actively contributes to the Risk & Quality Management Working Group under the B2C2WG governance structure, continuously refining methodologies and incorporating lessons learned to improve enterprise-wide risk governance.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Eligible Clearance
- 10-15 Years with a BS/BA or MS/MA; or equivalent years of experience
