Production Controller – Navy Environmental Program
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Overview
Join the Leidos team supporting the U.S. Navy by coordinating logistics and production activities for Environmental Equipment systems. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of high-quality products that meet mission-critical standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor production schedules and workflows, ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment
Conduct quality inspections to verify compliance with manufacturing standards
Perform receipt inspections of incoming materials, confirming accuracy and adherence to specifications
Tag and inventory production materials, organizing them for efficient kitting
Assemble kits in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
Package and ship kits and completed equipment following established packaging protocols
Maintain accurate digital records and objective quality evidence in required formats
Track and manage inventory levels of consumables, coordinating deliveries and outbound shipments
Identify and resolve production issues to maintain continuous, efficient operations
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Hands-on experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a related technical field
Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic, team-based environments
Preferred Qualifications
2 years’ experience in assembly, operation, maintenance, and/or repair of military equipment
Familiarity with MILSPEC drawings and the ability to interpret technical documentation

Pay Range:
Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00
