What does a successful EMV Machine Operator do at Fiserv?
You will join the team at our Nashville location and receive training on our world class EMV equipment, while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and efficiency to meet client Service Level Agreements. You will operate the EMV machine that automates the embedding of the EMV chip into personalized credit, debit, and prepaid cards to ensure quality standards are met. You will complete all smart card orders by the specified deadline with high accuracy.
What you will do:
- Operate EMV equipment manufactured by Muehlbauer
- Set up, operate, and tend to machines used in the process of EMV chip insertion
- Verify the proper functionality of the EMV chip
- Work with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, security, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in the team cross-training including learning different machines and equipment
What you will need to have:
- 1 year of machine operating experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using a computer for data entry
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often
What would be great to have:
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
- 2+ years of machine operating experience in a fast-paced environment
- 1 year of Muehlbauer operating experience
Important info about this role:
- Compensation is $ 21 / hour
- You will work an assigned rotating 12-hour schedule of either: 6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am; every other weekend off
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 3rd shift
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
