Project Management Services provides the overall structure and framework of project, adhering to project management capabilities to facilitate the activities required throughout the program to achieve Project’s objectives.
The following high level items will be included in the work effort for the Project Management services that are to be provided to the client within this proposal:
- Coordinating activities and communications across all Fiserv teams and client
- Communicating a clear vision and strategy planning with project teams to
align tracks of work with agreed Project business objectives - Project plan with key milestones and dependencies
- Project governance, including escalation management and communication plan
- Drive efficient decision making and progress across the Project
- Project risks, issues and dependencies identification and management
- Ensure predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery
- Provide a holistic view of the overall program to the organization and all stakeholders
- Exhibit proactive behavior by engaging in program planning activities, including but not limited to: Defining the overall scope of the program; Creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline/schedule highlighting the major milestones and associated dates for program activities; Identifying and communicating program dependencies and impacts; Putting mechanisms in place to ensure on-going control of the program (E.g., Kick off meeting, overall Program Management Approach, Communication Plan, Risk Management, Issues Management, Change Control, etc.)
- Define program governance, outlining roles, responsibilities, decision rights and clearly defined escalation path
- Ensure success criteria defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage to expected program outcomes
- Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the program, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout program.
- Proactively communicate the program’s progress on an on-going basis, ensuring transparency throughout program lifecycle. Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
- Facilitate alignment and approach for all related Fiserv business areas to meet One Fiserv Objectives.
- Knowledgeable about how the organizations work; knows how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network. Understands the culture of organizations.
- Manage third party relationships involved in the overall implementation project to include scheduling activities, maintaining budget control and insuring deliverables are properly defined and completed on schedule.
- Communicate all changes to schedule and scope on a timely basis.
The Fiserv Project Manager will be responsible for and serve as the client’s first, single and consistent point of contact:
- For all Project-level parameters
- Will participate in Project Level meeting with agreed upon schedule to include the client and representatives of Fiserv – audience to be determined mutually.
The Project Manager will be responsible for collating, accurately producing and presenting the following project-level reporting and tracking to appropriate audiences (Fiserv and Client)
- Project Health Dashboard
- Consolidated Deliverables / Action Tracking
- Project Risks / Issues / Dependencies Tracking
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of previous project management and/or relevant consulting experience driving large scale projects in a matrixed environment
- Utilization of Project Management tools such as MS Project, Visio and Power Point
- Flexibility to work after hours/on-call/weekends as needed basis
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
- Experience within a Professional Services department
