Financial Systems Manager
Purpose:
The Financial Systems Manager is accountable for the administration, development, and continuous advancement of the organization’s financial enterprise performance systems, with a primary emphasis on the OneStream EPM platform. This role leverages extensive financial systems management expertise, ensure robust support of key business processes including consolidation, financial and management reporting, planning, and forecasting. The Financial Systems Manager operates as a central resource to finance, accounting, and business operations teams, driving process improvements, maintaining system integrity, and delivering technology solutions that align with the company’s broader financial reporting strategy. This position is expected to proactively identify opportunities for systems transformation, safeguard compliance with internal controls, and uphold standards of data governance while supporting critical initiatives across the finance function.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert and primary administrator for our OneStream EPM platform, overseeing upgrades, integrations, configuration, and user training and support.
Act as a strategic partner in developing and executing the company’s financial systems roadmap, including supporting system transformation initiatives and leveraging AI/Sensible Machine Learning within finance and across the business.
Partner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to optimize financial and management reporting, forecasting, and planning processes.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of financial system solutions, reports, and dashboards to support management decision making.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices for corporate financial systems.
Provide technical oversight and guidance for financial system enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Ensure data integrity, perform regular system reconciliations, and manage security settings and workflow administration.
Train and support end users, create procedural documentation, and provide ongoing production support and issue resolution.
Collaborate with senior finance leaders on ad hoc projects, special initiatives, and quarterly/annual planning cycles.
Stay current with advancements in financial systems technology, recommending new tools or enhancements as appropriate.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in financial systems administration, development, or support within large or complex organizations.
Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, and enhancing the OneStream EPM platform.
Experience with other EPM platforms (such as Hyperion, BPC, or Cognos).
Proven leadership and experience, leading effectively finance systems teams.
Proven experience with financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes in a multi-entity or global environment.
Strong understanding of financial data structures, integrations, and best practices for system controls and data governance.
Demonstrated project management skills, with a history of successfully delivering systems projects on time and within scope.
Reporting Relationship:
Reporting to Director of Finance Business Systems
Other Relationships:
Support to the following: Business Process Transformation, FP&A, Group Accounting, Treasury, Tax and other Financial Shared Services
Benefits and Compensation:
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office or remotely. The pay range is $117,100 - $175,600, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
