Job Description:
The FP&A Manager will oversee the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes while providing insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making. This role involves building and maintaining financial models, preparing management reports, and partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Developing financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
- Partnering with business units to analyze performance, assess risks, and identify cost-saving or revenue growth opportunities.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and creating dashboards to track performance.
- Providing variance analysis and explanations on financial results compared to budget and forecast.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment evaluations.
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial information for executive reporting.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or relevant certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related areas.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning systems or ERP software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing or mentoring others required.
