Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise. Our Sales & Service offering designs and implements sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures required to bring customer strategies to life.
Work You'll Do:
As an Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in modernizing client infrastructure with automation and machine learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
The team is tasked with:
- Updating the underlying database to virtual server without disrupting service to 100k annual users
- Modernizing the routing system by improving workflow for production tracking & analytic review
- Automating dissemination
- Migrating from Word to HTML
- Creating new visualization request & production tools (replacing SharePoint site)
- Developing updated review applications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience using web development technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required
- Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Maryland
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing data driven tests, mocking, and unit testing
- Experience cloning, branching, committing, and submitting pull requests with Git
- Agile development experience on a scrum team, using Agile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience creating and consuming REST APIs that meet performance and security requirements
- Thorough understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and technologies, such as Salesforce DX and Git
- Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Experience pitching new projects and creative concepts to new and existing clients
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,900 to $179,900.
