Description
Leidos is seeking a candidate to provide agency-wide mainframe, Top-Secret, and z/OS development. The candidate will create new or modify existing JCL, programs, automated batch jobs, or use z/OS mainframe tools to provide agency-wide security programming to aid in the development or application of agency-wide security. The candidate will provide maintenance of SSA’s z/OS Risk Models based on identified security parameters as they pertain to z/OS Mainframe System resources, but not limited to TCPIP, FTP, WebSphere MQ, WAS, and Unix System Services. The candidate update, modify and maintain the Top-Secret Security screens, generate requested audit reports of users, systems, and access to SSA’s resources and sensitive data; maintain SSA’s z/OS Risk Model as identified by SSA management, per DISA STIG security parameters guidelines.
*** Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week.

Provide support and use Cobol, Rexx, JCL and various legacy mainframe programming languages to develop tools, programs and applications in support of new or existing projects. Develop and Maintain Legacy interfaces to Top Secret. Create and maintain new or existing CICS Web Services and create new or modify existing Job Control Language (JCL) jobs and programs, to generate required audit reports within timeframe required. Contractor shall support with Legacy Top Secret Auditing and reporting and create new or modify existing automated batch jobs. Contractor shall generate audit and tracking reports periodically. Use CA-Auditor and z/OS Mainframe ISPF tools to generate z/OS System level data reports. Contractor shall maintain SSA z/OS risk model as it pertains to z/OS Mainframe System resources such as but not limited to the following: FTP, TCPIP, WebSphere MQ, WAS servers and Unix System Services. Contractor shall update and maintain z/OS Security Risk Model z/OS Mainframe jobs and programs.
Key required skills:
- Experience administering Mainframe Security software; RACF, ACF2
- Solid coding experience in Mainframe, COBOL, CICS and JCL
FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS (Basic Qualifications)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience, or 7+years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of security control assessment experience
- Strong business documentation and technical writing skills.
- Must have strong experience working in Excel

Pay Range:
Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
