What You Will Do:
• Develop and execute the category strategy by managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and ensuring capacity is in place to meet the organizations requirements.
• Recognizing the potential for cost decreases, inventory reductions and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
•Strengthen the business relationship with the supply base
•Collaborate across verticals to align activities
•Improve the performance of the NA harness supply base
Description
Candidate will be a Category Buyer in the RI NA wire harness category team. Responsibilities include managing a MX supply base for wire harnesses.
Education Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or accounting is preferred; however, equivalent mid-level experience in supply chain and purchasing will also be considered.

Supplier Relationship Management:
- Extensive work experience in purchasing or supply chain
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and resolve issues.
- Monitor supplier satisfaction and performance.
- Support implementation of supplier relationship strategies.
Strategic Sourcing:
- Conduct sourcing activities and analyze market data.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support senior professionals in multi-environment sourcing.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Lognet experience
- Previous Buyer Experience
- Procurement & Vendor Management experience managing supplier relationships, executing purchase orders, and driving cost control and compliance.
- Strategic Sourcing & Analytics proficiency in spend analysis and forecasting using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Python to support sourcing decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration ability to align sourcing strategies with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to support product and process improvements.
Additional Details:
The location for this position will be in either Mossville Il (Bldg. AC) or Monterrey-Villa Office (Santa Catarina)
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position will require up to 25% travel
