Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Virtual Warfare Center Program Management Senior Manager (Level L) to support the Phantom Works (PW) Virtual Warfare Center in Berkeley, MO.
As a Senior Program Manager with the Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) team, you will lead, innovate and collaborate with teams that are shaping major strategic/tactical discussions, debates, analysis and decisions on technology and capabilities from seabed to space. You will partner with colleagues to utilize the VWC to assist in analyzing targeted options for current/future investment choices and recommend optimal technical observations for both internal/external business presence.
This role serves as a critical leader within the VWC and ensures operational efficiency and excellence throughout a geographically dispersed team. The Virtual Warfare Center Program Management Manager will lead all aspects (costs, schedule, performance) of the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) with existing multi-year contract.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads all aspects (cost, schedule, and performance) of the Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) Operator-In-The-Loop multi-year contract
Develops budgets, schedules, and performance standards to meet customer requirements
Leads all capture efforts and BAA responses in support of the contract and task orders
Develops and maintains strong relationships and partnerships with external customers across the Department of Defense, as well as senior level internal partners
Leads a multi-functional, cross-site Boeing team consisting of over 50 personnel
Directs development, testing, integration, and execution of the proprietary simulation environment
Conducts multiple major on-site week events across the course of the calendar year
Supports over 20 integration and testing weeks for multiple different customers
Directly manages Boeing personnel and substantial subcontractors
Conducts strategic planning activities to include development and execution of integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures.
Manages over $6M in assets
Coordinates across Business Units for contracting, finance, estimating, procurement, security, property management and facilities support
Leverages Program Management best practices to ensure that program plans meet or exceed all objectives and deadlines
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5+ years’ experience in Program or Project Management
5+ years’ experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
5+ years’ experience developing/maintaining team schedules, resource management, risk management, and project management
Active Secret Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s degree preferred
Top Secret/SCI preferred
5+ years’ experience leading geographically dispersed teams
5+ years’ experience working within Special Access Programs
10+ years’ experience performing Schedule Executability Risk Assessments and preparing, analyzing and reporting recommendations to Program Senior Leadership re: establishment and management of Schedule Risk Mitigation
10+ years’ experience facilitating or helping to lead process improvement activities
10+ years' experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Experience with business strategy execution plans

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $157,250– $212,750 USD
