Boeing’s F-15 Contract’s organization is currently seeking a Senior Contract Management Specialist to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.
This role will support the F-15 Sustainment and Services programs as a Senior (and possible) Team Lead, with responsibility for direct engagement on a variety of contracting activities with the United States Air Force (USAF).
As a member of the team and partner to the programs, this position will conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) analysis, lead proposal kickoffs, perform risk identification and mitigation, manage and develop proposals, negotiate and secure contract and modification awards, and execute contract post-award administration efforts. This role will represent the company to customers, develop and maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts, and exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with the delegation to negotiate and contract for a variety of product and service offerings.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Solid working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Extensive experience leading proposal development and managing the contractual processes
Track record of long-tenured contract involvement with ability to cite past contracts and outcomes
Position Responsibilities:
Lead proposal development and submission including RFP analysis, kickoffs, risk identification and mitigation, and presenting risks and opportunities to executive leadership
Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle from award through post-award administration, including program support, coordination of program meetings, performance reviews, negotiations, modifications, and contract closeout
Exercise delegated signature and commitment authority to negotiate and execute complex contractual agreements for aerospace products, services, technologies, financing, and IP licensing
Coordinate cross-functionally with finance, estimating, program management, supply chain, legal, and other stakeholders to align contract, cost, schedule, and technical requirements
Prepare and deliver briefings and presentations on contract status and performance to senior leadership on a quarterly, biannual, and annual basis
Represent Boeing in external negotiations and customer meetings with government counterparts and diverse customers, maintaining effective working relationships
Lead development and mentorship of junior teammates to build contractual discipline and team capability
Summarize complex contractual issues, develop creative solutions, and coordinate contractual risk mitigation strategies
Travel domestically and internationally as required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience in proposal development and/or contract execution
Experience interfacing with government customers and senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
7+ years of related experience
Experience managing a variety of contract types: Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ), firm/fixed-price, cost-plus, and time-and-materials

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $100,300 - $135,700
