As the Weekend Coordinator, you will be responsible and accountable to provide expertise associated with plant equipment and machinery, modification, troubleshooting, improvement, as well as overall maintenance and upkeep. The Weekend Coordinator will also serve as the execution focal for the weekend operations team(s). You will support and lead a team of maintenance technicians, contractors, and other technical professionals to effectively execute the corrective and preventive maintenance programs for the facility on for all weekend shifts.
This role's working days are Friday - Sunday.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the equipment and machinery are maintained in a manner that supports production needs
- Partner with the Senior Maintenance Coordinator and the site IFM Manager to maintain an effective operating unit consisting of both GE and contract maintenance
- Responsible for deployment of maintenance and contract personnel to meet business priorities
- Liaison between maintenance and operation focals
- Actively supports EHS policies including electrical safety, NFPA 70e, LOTO, hot work, confined space, PPE, OSHA compliance, and MOC activities
- Provide guidance and feedback on optimizing and administering the PM program, job plans, and procedures
- Effectively coach the team on the application of Flight Deck fundamentals
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a technical field)
- At least an additional 3 years of experience in a technical field
Desired Characteristics:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams with direct reports in an electro-mechanical field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think clearly under pressure.
- Applied work experience in an industrial setting utilizing a CMMC
- Knowledge and understanding of complex systems (PLC's, vision systems, robotics, lasers, etc.).
- Experience reading and interpreting complex mechanical drawings, schematics, instruction manuals, diagrams and N/C and PLC (ladder) programs
