Description:You will be the Reliability Engineer for the IRST Reliability, Maintainability & Testability team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing technical reliability studies, evaluating engineering design concepts, and ensuring that products meet required levels of reliability.
What You Will Be Doing As the Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting technical reliability studies, analyzing performance reports, and investigating variables that affect product and process reliability. You will work closely with the IRST team to identify and resolve electromechanical technical issues and hardware/software integration problems.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and conducting technical reliability studies and evaluations
• Analyzing performance reports and process control statistics
• Investigating and resolving technical issues and hardware/software integration problems
• Interacting with subcontractors, engineers, program managers, and customers
• Writing reports, white papers, and other technical documents
• Participating in failure review boards, engineering change boards, and corrective action boards

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, motivated and result oriented
• Proficiency/experience using Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
• Experience working Sensor programs or military systems maintenance.
Desired Skills:• Experience using Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) or other types of root cause analyses and maintainability analyses
• Reliability, Maintainability or Testability Experience
• Experience presenting findings to customers and management
• Electronic/Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
