Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist (Planner) (Level 3) for our Coppell, TX facility.
The Supply Chain Planner uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance business processes. Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support the business in achieving desired results.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers. Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
Makes purchasing/inventory stocking decisions and works with buying team to place orders within lead time.
Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
Prepares and analyzes complex data to develop and manage multiple data sets to run demand forecasting, strategic optimization, initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance business processes.
Responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support the business in achieving desired results.
Responsible for supporting departmental teams on a wide range of business reports on key company metrics; reviews data for accuracy; analyzes data and trends and includes any finding or recommendations when distributing report.
Conducts periodic performance reports at various levels of aggregation; understands data and is able to analyze possible risks and trends; distributes to stakeholders to influence decision making.
Establishes priorities and meet deadlines and drives data projects by gathering requirements from internal stakeholders, ensures that requirements are in line with overall objectives and translating those requirements to Business Intelligence team when advanced SQL and development work is needed.
Designs, constructs, documents, and maintains ad hoc reports. Conducts analysis and makes recommendations based on analysis where necessary.
Recommends and executes enhancements for reporting based on stakeholder feedback.
Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience in supply chain management, Logistics Support, or Materials Management
5+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment
Experience in data analysis
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with basic ERP system functionality, SAP or similar tool
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
Aerospace experience
Experience with SPM Planning tool
Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired
Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (asset/program management)
Communication skills, collaboration, and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $72,000 - $102,000
