What does a Sr. Product Designer do at Fiserv?
Fiserv is looking for an experienced UI/UX designer leader to join our growing Pay by Bank product team. Pay by Bank enables a premier non-card based DDA ‘payment on file’ solutions and wallet platform.
As the Pay by Bank product designer you can look forward to playing a pivotal role in defining all user experiences for internal tools, integration experience and consumer facing products. You will work closely with our product management and engineering teams to ensure a best-in-class product is produced with the ability to be easily incorporated into any merchant payment experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong research and design skills with an eye for creating simplified user experiences. You will have a passion for turning user insights into simple and delightful experiences.
What you will do:
- Track market, consumer & industry trends, and competition
- Represent the voice of the consumer
- Engage with internal teams, customers & partners
- Own overall end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or service flow
- Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve web, apps, mobile and interactive designs
- Create meaningful UX deliverables such as sketching, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, presentations that help the team understand what to build and why
- Perform user research to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations
What you must have:
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the payment or technology space.
- Demonstrated ability to distill simplicity from complex user requirements
- Proficient user of the tools of the trade like, Figma, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Marvel, Overflow, Mural
- Proven experience with user research and translating insights from research to design
- Proven experience defining, organizing and hosting design thinking workshops
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to interact across all levels of the business, both internally and externally
- Experience designing consumer-facing products and consumer engagement
