What does a successful Commissions do at Fiserv?
The Commissions Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the external Independent Sales Organisation (ISO) commission process. This role is responsible for management and oversight of the back-office commission preparation team, owning the calculation process and engagement with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate payouts and continued improvement of the end-to-end process.
What You Will Do:
- Design & Implement Commission Plans
Work with business stakeholders in the develop and maintenance commission structures that drive sales performance and align with company objectives. - Manage Commission Calculations
Oversee accurate and timely calculation of ISO commissions. - Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze performance metrics and commission data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Driving the improvement of data quality of input and drive accountability with the Operations team. Calculate adjustments associated with incorrect commissions. Continuously improve the commission statements. - Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with the ISO Sales and Relationship Management (RM) teams, ISO Partners, Finance and Accounting and IT to enhance, improve accuracy and quality of commission processes. Bridge the gap between back-office calculation and front office - RM and Partners. In partnership with RM team engage with partners to resolve commission discrepancies and issues. - Compliance & Documentation
Ensure commission plans comply with legal contracts and internal policies. Maintain clear documentation for audits and reviews. - Data and System Oversight & Commission Tool Enhancement
Manage and improve current commission data inputs and tool. Troubleshoot issues related to data integrity and commission template issues. Drive development of new commission software /tool.
What You Will Need To Have:
- Effective leadership – ability to manage direct and indirect reporting lines. Ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills – ability to interpret and manage large data sets and business rules.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Background in finance, accounting, or sales operations.
What Would Be Great To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- 5 years + of experience in commissions, compensation, or financial analysis.
- Experience in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
- Payments, Telco, industries with third party sales partners preferred.
