About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Senior Paralegal, to join the Legal team supporting the
Retail Services and Personal Lending Business line.
In this role, you will:- Support the Retail Services Merchant contracting process
- Provide originations/fulfillment support for Personal Lending and Retail Services
- Provide guidance on Personal Lending and Retail Services marketing review work
- Provide support to a specialized practice or functional area within the Legal Department requiring a high degree of analytical, written and oral communication and organizational skills
- Provide substantiation and background for specific client inquiries, claims, disputes, cases and proceedings with minimal direction of an attorney
- Produce clear and concise written materials that can be submitted to the client with minimal revision or review by an attorney
- Work directly with business clients and develops an understanding of business unit needs and develops plans to resolve issues
- Develop relationships with business units and is proactive in participating in strategic efforts of client while identifying and addressing issues
- Identify specific as well as broad underlying issues in area of expertise and work independently on very complex assignments without direct supervision
- Resolve moderately complex issues within the Legal Department
- Coordinate with attorneys on special requests or highly complex projects
- Develop relationships with business units and be proactive in participating in strategic efforts of client while identifying and addressing issues
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Paralegal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Consumer Lending experience with an emphasis on Personal Loans/Lines
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and follow-through
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on clarity, precision and accuracy.
- Well-developed analytical, organizational and research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and take direction from attorneys and senior leaders.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office software applications, including Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Job Expectations:- Ability to work at one of our approved jobs posting locations
- Ability to work hybrid schedule, in office at least 3 days a week
- Paralegal certification may be required in some states
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$37.02 - $63.94
