About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Lead Control Management Officer to join the
Data Management Control team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM).
In this role, you will:- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging data management risks with broad impact across WIM
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
- Provide consulting support to help business teams identify risks and design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in Control Management projects and cross-functional working groups.
- Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relevant business group and line of business control teams to identify risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Assist in developing and maintaining risk monitoring and reporting processes
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Experience with Data Management risk and controls
- Experience with Wells Fargo systems, applications, technology tools
- Experience with Wells Fargo risk programs, including RCSA and Issue Management
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong presentation and reporting skills
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professionalism
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Job Expectations:- Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.
