In this role, you will:- Perform initial due diligence and ongoing monitoring on third-party investment products (mutual funds, SMAs, exchange traded funds, etc.) as part of the Systematic Review Team. There are two roles - one focused on investment due diligence; one on operational due diligence.
- Determine platform eligibility through structured reviews using both qualitative and quantitative criteria, including assessments for new firm/product additions and quarterly monitoring existing platform offerings.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on multi-step approval processes to ensure timely and accurate assessments aligned with time and volume targets.
- Ensure thorough documentation of decision rationale in accordance with established review standards to support integrity and repeatability of systematic reviews
- Communicate with external money managers regularly.
- Create and deliver presentations to internal audiences and oversight committees, and draft communications to fields investment professionals.
- Contribute to the enhancement of Systematic Review processes, with a focus on leveraging advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and insight.
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Retail Investment Research, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 5+ years of investment and/or operational manager research experience
- Experience with packaged products including mutual funds, exchange traded products, closed end funds, Unit Investment Trusts, Collective Investment Trusts, and separately managed accounts
- Advanced financial analytical experience with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, including statistical and performance analytics on investments
- Experience in money manager research, project management, and applying data analytics to improve research workflows and decision-making processes
- Experience with Morningstar Direct, FactSet and Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint
- Strong background in Microsoft Excel VBA, data analytics (e.g. Python)
- Familiarity with AI applications is plus
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$139,000.00 - $217,000.00
