Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Research and Development Systems Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated OneTech Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the on-site IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, power, and cooling systems, either as skilled hands-on technical support or as liaison with respective vendors. It also includes support for the design and implementation of business lab and test cell systems.
Reporting to the OneTech Manager, the individual in this role will support the RDS department's objective of maintaining an exceptional IT infrastructure for R&D members.
This position will be located in Saline, MI. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location.
What you’ll be doing
Perform preventive and repair maintenance on servers, network equipment, and storage devices
Support vendors with repairs of IT and power/cooling equipment
Liaison with business and OneTech functions to design and implement IT solutions in customer lab and test cell areas.
Liaison with business for any major facilities work impacting IT infrastructure
Lead outage restoration activities for Michigan R&D sites
Support remote facilities as needed
What you bring
High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent years of experience
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT supporting physical systems (server, storage, network)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive industry
Minimum of 5 years' experience in administrative Windows systems
Physical hardware repair
ITIL outage management
