What does a successful Technical Account Manager do?
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Fiserv plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with specific merchant clients. Serving as a bridge between our technical teams and our clients, you'll leverage your deep understanding of both Fiserv's and the clients' technical stacks, strategies, and directions to ensure seamless integration, problem-solving, and strategic alignment. This role embodies Fiserv’s partnership philosophy by ensuring our clients are fully supported and engaged with the technological advancements that drive their success.
What you will do:
- Act as Fiserv’s technical point of contact for the assigned client.
- Assist clients in understanding Fiserv's technical stack, strategy, and direction.
- Develop a detailed understanding of clients’ technical strategies relevant to merchant services.
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for technical questions and technical support issue resolution.
- Coordinate and provide support for incident management and technical project oversight.
- Provide regular status reporting on technical projects, issues, and incidents.
- Oversee implementations and transitions, ensuring seamless execution.
- Monitor technology performance to ensure optimal functionality.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in technical account management or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in project management within a technical or merchant services environment.
- 4+ years of experience with incident management and resolution.
- 4+ years of experience with technical stack strategies and alignment.
- 4+ years of experience in client engagement and strategic technology discussions.

- 4+ years of experience in merchant services or financial technology solutions.
- 4+ years of experience in the oversight of technical implementations and transitions.
- 4+ years of experience in commercialization efforts for technological solutions.
- 4+ years of experience with monitoring technology performance metrics.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
