The AutoDesk and Navisworks Specialist position is focused on project application’s use, implementation and improvement for the AutoDesk CAD suite including but not limited to: AutoCAD, Navisworks, and REVIT. This will include tasks such as application installation, configuration, database maintenance, troubleshooting, material extraction, and user support. Additionally, this position requires integration and automation with other BIM applications for the Amentum Critical Mission Solutions, Nuclear Projects and Consulting Line of Business programs and projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• AutoCAD Installation and Configuration
• Project Setup of Navisworks and REVIT
• Assisting with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Development
• Proficient with Navisworks Simulate
• Automation configuration of file transfers among the various BIM applications
• Drawing Set-up and configuration
• Maintain a central library of AutoCAD Block and Revit Families
• AutoCAD file translation to various CAD formats
• SketchUp tool user support
• User training and Project support
• Assisting with graphical renderings and virtual visual presentations.
• Elevate new BIM software applications to stay current with industry advancements
• Provide detailed communication with all personnel regarding operational requests for improvement of discipline technologies and their interaction with work processes
• Provide analytic feedback and recommendations to management regarding the state of technology being utilized in project execution
• 2-year college degree in related field (Required).
• AutoDesk Senior level skillset with 15+ years of experience
• Possess a thorough knowledge of Navisworks tools
• Technical writing skills
• Experience with 3D BIM tools and automation
• Experience with implementing and managing enterprise level engineering information technology and implementing client CAD Standards
• Ability to accomplish common business objectives in a team environment
• Possess a working knowledge of programming automation using Microsoft Visual Studio. Net and Visual Basic 6.
• Ability to provide leadership in delivering enterprise level solutions to business operations
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
• Ability to multi-task between various projects
• Experience with Oracle and SQL
• Sole USA citizenship
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
• BA/BS in related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience
• Preference is for local direct hire to be based in the Oak Ridge Office but will consider remote locations. If remote, routine office visits will be required.

Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.
