Trane Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Quality Systems Engineer to support and manage the EtQ Quality Management System (QMS) software across CHVAC Americas manufacturing sites. In this critical role, you will partner with IT, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure the optimal performance, configuration, and integration of the EtQ platform to drive continuous improvement in quality processes.

Where is the work:
Remote: This role is designated as remote.Travel Requirements: 15% - Travel to CHVAC Americas manufacturing sites to support the deployment and training on quality systems.
What you will do:
·EtQ QMS Support: Serve as the primary SME for EtQ QMS software; troubleshoot issues, respond to user inquiries, and resolve incidents in coordination with IT and vendor support.
·Configuration & Customization: Configure system settings, workflows, forms, and reports in EtQ to match organizational requirements and quality process needs.
·User Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver user training (virtual and in-person), create job aids and help documentation for various user groups.
·Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure accurate data migration, integration, and reporting from EtQ QMS; support analytics and business intelligence needs for quality KPIs.
·Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements leveraging EtQ QMS capabilities.
·Project Management: Participate in EtQ system upgrades, implementations, and integration projects; facilitate testing, rollout, and post-go-live support.
·Compliance & Security: Ensure EtQ QMS utilization aligns with regulatory, security, and IT policies; maintain user roles and system permissions in accordance with compliance standards.
What you will bring:
·Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Work Experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
·Hands-on experience with EtQ Reliance or other modules (Complaints, CAPA, Document Control, etc.).
·Familiarity with quality management processes (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
·Experience in change management and user adoption initiatives.
·3+ years’ experience supporting enterprise quality systems (EtQ preferred, others like MasterControl, TrackWise, etc. considered).
·Experience in manufacturing, preferably HVAC or similar regulated environment, is a plus.
·Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
Compensation:$75,000-$95,000 a year
