Job Description
What you will do:
Join our dynamic team as a Software Test Engineer Intern and support system-level testing of embedded controls for advanced Chiller Applications. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in embedded software testing while contributing to innovative and impactful projects.
How You Will Do It
- Collaborate with senior engineers to perform system-level testing of embedded software for Chiller control systems, following established standards and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and execute test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and manual test scripts.
- Conduct functional and regression testing based on pre-defined methods and setups.
- Assist with the identification, documentation, and management of software defects, and coordinate their resolution, generating relevant statistics and reports.
- Participate actively in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, sharing insights and progress updates.
- Support the creation, installation, and validation of test software builds.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned in support of overall testing goals.
What We Look For
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree (junior level or above) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline at a four-year accredited college or university.
- Strong foundational knowledge in programming concepts, software engineering, and computer science principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new skills and contribute to challenging projects.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $21.00-$24.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
