WHO YOU AREA Production Quality Engineer (PQE) in support of RMS Operations will support Quality scope initiatives across multiple programs at the Orlando site. The Production Quality Engineer will support assigned programs and/or commodity areas to ensure product delivered to the customer meets expectations and all requirements imposed. Program and Floor Area performance will be monitored and reported, build documentation will be reviewed and approved, and PQE will interface with Operations and Quality Program Management, and other Integrated Production Team members on a regular basis. The PQE will support activities such as non-conformance management, manufacturing build oversight, inspection activities, reclamation areas, and participation in Performance Management Teams (PMTs), factory continuous improvement initiatives, First Article Inspection per AS9100 of all production parts and assemblies, investigation/resolution of problems/issues, monitoring/auditing/support to manufacturing, assembly and shipment. Interface with internal departments regarding problem/issue review/resolution, Customer and DCMA interface when required.

Basic Qualifications:- Technical Degree, degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Have knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
- Effective communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal) and be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
Desired Skills:- Bachelors or Masters degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline
- Strong familiarity with Production Operations
- Previous experience working directly with, or in direct support of Quality Assurance Systems Applications and Products (SAP) experience
- Familiarity and experience with Aerospace manufacturing of Cables, Harnesses, and/or Electrical Subassemblies
- Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (or Material Review Board)
- Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
- Knowledge of data analytics / statistics, Tableau, Pareto Analysis and other data analysis methods

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
