Join the dynamic world of CAT Logistics as a Material Planning Analyst, where you’ll play a key role in managing parts supply for Caterpillar Bulldozers. What you will do:
Material Planning & Scheduling:
Coordinate and oversee the procurement, production, and delivery of parts to ensure timely availability across multiple facilities.
Shortage Management:
Monitor and resolve parts shortages proactively to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Communication & Escalation:
Engage professionally with internal teams and suppliers via phone and email. Escalate issues promptly when necessary to ensure resolution.
System Operations:
Utilize SAP and MRC systems to manage inventory, track orders, and support planning activities.
Forecasting & Replenishment:
Generate forecasts and manage replenishment plans to meet service level targets and optimize inventory flow.

What skills you will have:
Materials Handling and Management: Experienced in logistics and supply chain operations, with a proven ability to manage materials efficiently and support end-to-end supply processes. Skilled in delivering exceptional customer service through clear and empathetic communication, timely resolution of issues, and a proactive approach to understanding and meeting customers' needs. Your experience with SAP and MRC systems will be a plus and give you a competitive edge.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Understanding decision-making processes, tools, and techniques; ability to analyze situations and make informed, effective decisions.
Problem Solving: Ability to identify, anticipate, and resolve organizational or operational issues using appropriate tools and approaches across diverse scenarios.
Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients, vendors, and peers using proven relationship management techniques.
Internal Resource Coordination: Ability to efficiently align and integrate internal resources, responsibilities, and workflows to achieve business goals.
Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Knowledge of inventory distribution across multiple sites; ability to apply DRP principles to optimize supply chain operations.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Understanding of MRP systems and practices; ability to plan manufacturing cycles and ensure material and capacity availability.
Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.
Additional Information:
The primary work location for this role is Peoria, IL, with a full-time on-site schedule of five days per week.
Domestic relocation assistance is not available for this role.
This position may require up to 5% travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$79,800.00 - $119,760.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
