What does a successful Senior Project Manager, Digital Solutions do?
A successful Project Manager in our Digital Solution team coordinates consulting teams and manages billable product implementation, enhancement, and integration projects. As a key member of the Digital Solutions Group, this role involves conducting kickoff meetings across departments and ensuring smooth communication with senior leadership. This position offers the chance to work with leading technology in a financial services industry leader.
What will you do:
· Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, along with the capacity to develop original approaches and operational improvements.
· Coordinate all aspects of a product or service offering for the business from inception to installation. Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment or enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagement.
· Interact extensively with operations, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams is key to success in this role. Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced processes to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost using technology or process changes. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests.
· Oversee schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment. This key role is responsible for managing the overall project including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise.
· The Project Manager works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule.
· Provide overall direction for complex activities – providing guidance and inputs for a large size project or multiple medium sized projects.
· Develop solutions to address a variety of business problems across own area / projects.
What you will need to have:
· 10 years of program or project management experience.
· Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
· 6 years managing large-scale commercial projects
· 6 years’ experience in advanced Excel skills., including working with large data sets, pivot tables, V-lookups.
What would be great to have:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information system, computer engineering.
· 6 years of project management and experience solving supply chain business needs with software solutions for distribution and transportation systems.
· Experience with warehouse managed inventory.
· Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
