Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that production planning aligns with market needs. This role requires collaboration with various departments to optimize supply chain efficiency and meet customer demands.
Duties
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical analysis.
- Select and implement inventory management software system
- Collaborate with ecom, sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights and align forecasts with business strategies.
- Monitor inventory control processes to minimize excess stock while avoiding shortages.
- Generate reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and production schedules for management review.
- Conduct regular reviews of forecast performance and adjust strategies as necessary to improve accuracy.
Skills
- Proficient in demand planning methodologies and best practices.
- Strong experience with inventory management and demand planning software
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with forecasting techniques and tools is highly desirable.
