About your role:

As a Software Development Engineering - Advisor II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Experience you'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in software development, with strong architectural and design skills.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in .NET development (C#, .NET Core).
- Strong understanding of OOPS, design patterns, and web security principles.
- Experience with ReactJS, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native development.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and security tools (Voltage, Sonatype, Fortify, WebInspect, MFA, LDAP).
- Experience designing modern, secure web-based applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and concepts like prompt engineering to enhance efficiency.
- Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in workflows
Experience that would be great to have:
- Domain experience in Financial Crime and Risk Management would be preferred
