About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a hardware procurement specialist to preform engineering review of hardware orders (BoM), checks spare inventory then process hardware requests, receipts completed orders and facilitates relationships with 3rd party vendors.
In this role, you will:- Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
- Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
- Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
- Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
- Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
- Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
- Act as an entry point for engineers submitting hardware requests
- Work with hardware suppliers to improve deliver times for orders.
- Provide weekly metrics and reporting
- Become fluent in all Wells Fargo procedures and tool's
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 + Years project management. Exceptional project management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to success in a rapidly changing environment.
- 2+ Years vendor management/relations. Skilled at working with 3rd party suppliers analyzing data sets, drawing out conclusions and trends, and communicating those trends to broader audiences.
Desired Qualifications:- 2+ Year's network hardware ordering experience, looking for someone who has worked with the major hardware suppliers, knows how to interact with requesting engineers, procurement teams, finance and 3rd party suppliers to ensure our hardware orders and funded and tracked correctly.
- Effective communicator. Writes clearly, compellingly, and in a way that breaks down complex topics into their most important components.
- Problem solver. Able to consistently make excellent decisions through a combination of data analysis, judgment and experience - including the ability to anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the organizational plan
